Original purchaser owned it for 6 yrs. 9 mo. in New Jersey and bought it from Prestige Motors.
I have the original NJ selling dealer's Vehicle Master Inquiry (VMI) report of first 23,000 miles.
I purchased the C280 Sport in August 2006, and am the second private owner (a non-smoker), although CARFAX will show me as Owner 3 because New Jersey dealerships apparently do a title transfer to themselves to hide the previous owner.
It is garaged in the Hudson Valley, NY, USA.
This classic C280 with sleek Sport accents is factory original (no aftermarket items except tires & wheel weights) and everything works very well!
Not a single mechanical problem in the 9,800 miles I have driven it.
(This C280 Sport is now rarely driven since purchasing my next W202 model,
a 1999 AMG C43.)
RH Xenon Lens and seal were professionally replaced with OEM parts.
It appears that the rear bumper had a repair and the lower portion of rear bumper
repainted (photo).
I sold this beauty in November 2012.
